• Asking another member to pay travel expenses.

• Soliciting donations.
• Asking for gift cards.
• Requesting cryptocurrency or digital assets.
• Requesting bank transfers.
• Requesting mobile wallet transfers.
• Asking members to receive or transfer funds on behalf of another person.
• Encouraging investment in financial products or schemes.
• Operating fraudulent businesses or investment opportunities.
• Using deceptive emotional manipulation for financial gain.

Accounts engaging in such conduct may be suspended or permanently removed without prior notice.

4. Common Scam Warning Signs

Members should exercise caution if another user:

• Declares love unusually quickly.
• Avoids video calls without reasonable explanation.
• Refuses to meet despite extended communication.
• Claims to be overseas indefinitely.
• Claims repeated emergencies.
• Requests secrecy.
• Uses emotional pressure or guilt.
• Requests financial assistance.
• Suggests cryptocurrency investments.
• Requests gift cards.
• Asks for banking information.
• Sends suspicious links.
• Requests verification codes (OTPs).
• Claims to have limited access to their own finances.
• Encourages moving conversations immediately to external platforms.

One warning sign alone does not necessarily indicate fraud, but multiple warning signs warrant additional caution.

5. Impersonation

Members may not:

• Use another person’s identity.
• Use photographs without permission.
• Pretend to represent ThaiWish or Timuz Technologies.
• Claim false military, medical, government, or professional credentials.
• Pretend to be a celebrity or public figure.
• Misrepresent age, relationship status, or location in a material way.

6. Financial Requests

ThaiWish strongly recommends that members never send money to someone they have met through the platform.

This includes:

• Cash transfers.
• Bank transfers.
• Wire transfers.
• Gift cards.
• Cryptocurrency.
• Digital wallets.
• Mobile payment applications.
• Payment for airline tickets.
• Visa fees.
• Medical expenses.
• Customs charges.
• Shipping fees.
• Bail money.
• Investment capital.

ThaiWish does not verify or guarantee the financial claims made by users.

7. Identity Verification

To improve platform safety, ThaiWish may offer or require identity verification for certain features or accounts.

Verification may include:

• Government-issued identification.
• Selfie verification.
• Facial comparison technology (where legally permitted).
• Phone verification.
• Email verification.
• Additional authentication methods.

9. Human Review

Where appropriate, trained moderators may review reports, evidence, and relevant account activity before taking enforcement action.

Depending on the circumstances, ThaiWish may:

• Request additional verification.
• Remove content.
• Restrict account features.
• Temporarily suspend an account.
• Permanently terminate an account.
• Cooperate with competent authorities where required by law.

10. Protecting Yourself

Members are encouraged to:

• Keep conversations on ThaiWish until trust is established.
• Verify identities through available platform features.
• Be cautious when someone moves too quickly emotionally.
• Never share banking credentials or verification codes.
• Protect personal and financial information.
• Research unfamiliar claims independently.
• Trust their instincts when something feels suspicious.

11. Reporting Suspicious Activity

If you believe another member is attempting to scam you or someone else, report the account immediately using the in-platform reporting tools or contact:

• Username or profile link.
• Screenshots (if available).
• Description of the activity.
• Relevant dates and times.

Providing accurate information helps us investigate efficiently.

12. Investigation Process

When a report is received, ThaiWish may:

• Review technical information related to account security and abuse prevention.
• Request additional information from the reporting user.
• Contact the reported user where appropriate.
• Apply temporary restrictions during the investigation.

13. Account Actions

ThaiWish employs a combination of technology, moderation, verification, and community reporting to reduce fraudulent activity.

However, no online platform can guarantee that every user is genuine or that every interaction will be free from risk.
